People look at the fazer bikes because the riding position sucks balls on the R6. They’re not even comparable. Speed vs. sport touring.

  9. seff56 on June 30th, 2009 6:19 am

I have fz6, its cool bike, i wouldnt compare it to an r6 or sportsbike because its basically a streetfighter bike so its in its own class kinda.

I like the looks of the FZ6R.

  11. motomike8012 on June 30th, 2009 6:19 am

Cause the differece in price between a FZ6R and R6 is huge, maybe thats why the stick with that bike?

  12. joeapple999 on June 30th, 2009 6:19 am

I was checking the FZ6R at the dealership the other day. Definitely one of the bike’s on my list. It looks like it would be comfortable for a passenger also.

yea you should upgrade the 250 isent the best on highways and keeping up with the rest of the guys might be a problem even tho some of them are also riding 250’s

  14. codyroeder on June 30th, 2009 6:19 am

    Hey-

Don’t get the FZ6….. If you wanna really go for an upgrade get the r6…

ALSO, if u r going for a damn upgrade? Why didnt u just get the bike u really wanted instead of wasting 4k on a 250… then having to trade it in for less money, and then re buying another bike?

I beilive if your going to get ur frist bike.. it miles well be freaking bad ass.And the whole visa immirgation thing
its there for a rea son. People get married to certain people just so they can get in the us

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to notice this!

  16. marknowhereman on June 30th, 2009 6:19 am

FZ6R is not an upgrade for the FZ6. They are diff. in their own right. The R6 has 5,000 RPM more compare to the FZ6R.

  17. JayzBeerz on June 30th, 2009 6:19 am

kwiksilver08: GS500F has 47 hp. This bike has 78 hp. The curb weight of the GS500F (2009) is 439 lb. curb weight of the FZ6R (2009) is 466 lb.
Do the math. Your bike isn’t faster. GG

Don’t underestimate this bike. I have a Raven colored one and had it up to 110 MPH. It didn’t feel like it was working hard at all! It’s the smoothest and quietest bike i ever had; and it has Enough power. Comfortable too.
