Showing you my Honda Rebel 250 motorcycle, with plenty of mods. A couple weren’t shown in the video. I’ll also be adding some Jardine pipes to the bike soon, to increase torque to match the 30-tooth sprocket. like the bike, not many people take to the 250 lightweight cruisers any more. how far do you travel each day and what speed do you average?

The camera is a Kodak EasyShare CX7330 model…not very great quality but it works well enough for what I wanna record, lol…I’m looking into a way to mount the camera to my bike, or strap it to my chest and record a nice ride around the roads around here.

Chris! Very cool - what kind of camera did you use, man?

I love that you were talking, and not just playing music with text.

oh i see. yeah the limit on the highway here is 65 and i always bust 70 to cruise. but i will cruise mainly in town and for out of town i will use the cbr..i thinking of getting addons just like urs..i like how urs looks its a beautiful bike you got there

It depends on how well the bike is broken in during the first 1000 miles…I bought mine used, and apparently whoever broke it in did a very good job, because on most days my Rebel will do 75 on the freeways (after being warmed up well). Freeway travel it can handle alright. Getting around town is perfect for this bike.

nice bike man. im going to get one at the same time that im gona get my Honda CBR 1000RR just for the cruising pleasure of it..the only reason im getting is cuz my taxes just got here and i got 5grand back so im gona get the rebel with that money..would you recommend this bike for a cruiser bike??

    sounds like a lawn mower

Well, that all works on paper…but in reality, the higher gears just don’t have the power to push you at the same speed with those lower RPMs. 4th gear actually took you faster than 5th, but to get to those speeds in 4th, the engine was just revving way too high for my comfort…and it still wasn’t close to as fast as I got with the stock sprocket.

    Nice video!
Topspeed got decreased? Rhat doesn’t make sense. If with the 30T sprocket you make fewer RPMs for the same speed, then the inverse should also be true: same RPMs gets you higher speed.
E.g: (just fake #s, for ease of math). If you change from 33T to 30T, that’s a 10% reduction, so a 10% reduction in RPMs. If you use to do 10,000RPMs for 100MPH, then now you only do 9,000RPMs for 100MPH. However, if you do 10,000RPM, speed should be 110MPH. (Again, these numbers are just theoretical)

with that amount of leather and lack of horse power you should have got yourself a donkey.

That’s probably the nicest rebel I’ve ever seen. The Jardine pipes sound great on cmx250…Also it’s cool that you actually told about the bike and where you got the accessories…I have a Nighthawk 750, red, and my wife is dying for a Rebel…so I got some tips on some cool add-ons! Thanks

To work and back is usually 10 miles roughly, that’s if I don’t go anywhere else. I’ve been known to go on 200+ mile cruises on my day off just because. The Rebel (if broken in properly and allowed to warm up before each ride) will travel the interstate just fine at 75-80mph, some people get 85+ out of theirs.
