When you start off, do you fully disengage the clutch ? At any time do you control your speed by using the back brake. I will e mail you.

I dont give two hoots about their helmets being open, or how safe they overtake. All I can say is thet they have a flippin brilliant job. I ride my bike for pleasure. Them boys get paid for it. P.S. When you get pulled by a bike cop, at least they treat you like a human being. Car cops treat you like a murderer.

I must have missed the bad bits? Didn’t see any evidence of undertakings cars and all of the overtakes were planned and correctly executed. If you can see it is safe overtaking into bends, through bends and out of bends is all part of riding a motorcycle. The visibility offered by sitting high up offers huge advantage to safe progression.

Yes some bikers do contribute to their accident.

That is absolutely terrible driving, undertaking, overtaking towards a bend and putting oncoming traffic in danger, speeding… you would NEVER pass an advanced driver course in Cheshire or Merseyside.
The standard of those drivers is way below expected and not much better than a normal Class 3 car driver. You wonder why so many bikes cause accidents!

Its Not Illegal, But WHen Riding With The Helmet ChinBar In The Open/Up Position, The Helmet Does Not Then Conform To Standard. The Only Helmet That Does Conform WHen Open Or Closed Is The NEW Shark Evoline

  9. TiredTrooper on November 16th, 2008 5:47 pm

    No it’s not illegal

  10. simrd on November 16th, 2008 5:47 pm

  11. alexskylarking on November 16th, 2008 5:47 pm

yeah!! I wrote my comment before reading yours! Its illegal to have your lower section open right??

  12. alexskylarking on November 16th, 2008 5:47 pm

I thought it was illegal to wear the lower half of you helmet up whilst riding? Yet the coppa is doing this?

  13. R6easy on November 16th, 2008 5:47 pm

Hey mate advanced riders would leave any other bike standing if everyone stayed at speed limit, give em a twisty bit of road and it would be bye bye to you

  21. simrd on November 16th, 2008 5:48 pm

  24. TheZ07 on November 16th, 2008 5:48 pm

Maybe so, but anyone who has some decent ability on a Gixxer would disappear from those guys easily. Performance is superior in a striaght line and cornering ability.

  25. vectorm1299 on November 16th, 2008 5:48 pm

no but as long as you have a visual on the gixxer, you can do miles than the gixxer… on a single tank of fuel
